Wild Gulf Shrimp | Vegetable Grain Bowl Topped with a Dill, Lemon, & Garlic Aioli

Seafood + Grain Bowl meets Local Provisions. One of our favorite homemade meals during the week is our Wild Gulf Shrimp Vegetable Grain Bowl Topped with a Dill, Lemon, and Garlic Aioli.

This meal comes together in 30 minutes or less and packs a lot of nutrients and protein into it. The possibilities are endless with the vegetables and grains you could substitute into this. We are giving you one version of our recipe that includes peppers, onions, and avocados. During the fall you could simply replace with butternut squash, kale, and apples.

What we like best about this recipe is when it all comes together with the dill, lemon, and garlic aioli. Once we plate the dish, we drizzle the aioli on top and begin to mix it together. Yes, we typically stop to take a pic prior to mixing but love to mix together all the flavors. Enjoy!

Wild Gulf Shrimp

  • 1 lb Wild Gulf Shrimp
  • ½ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Pepper
  • ½ Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 Garlic Clove Minced

Vegetables & Grains

  • 1 Cup Farro
  • 2 Bell Peppers (pick your favorite color)
  • 1 White Onion
  • 1 Avocado - Sliced
  • 1 Cup Corn
  • 1 Cup Lettuce (Shredded)

Dill, Lemon, & Garlic Aioli

  • 3 Tablespoons Mayo
  • 1 Teaspoon Dill - Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove - Minced


Wild Gulf Shrimp

  1. Marinade Shrimp - In a bowl combine the salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic clove. Let marinade for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
  2. Once marinated, saute shrimp for 8-10 minutes until they are bright pink.

Vegetable & Grain Bowl

  1. Boil water in pot and add farro - cook as directed
  2. Heat a frying pan to medium heat, add olive oil, onions, and peppers. Saute until slightly charred.
  3. Add corn into the frying pan with the peppers and onions to heat.
  4. Shred lettuce leafs and slice avocados.
  5. Plate the vegetables and grains in a shallow dish and top with the shrimp.

Dill, Lemon, & Garlic Aioli

  1. Combine the dill, lemon, mayo, and garlic and whisk together.
